Every devotee appreciates the opportunity of offering robes during Kathina or robe-offering ceremony. As stated by Sayadaw U Pannathami during the Dhamma talk on 9th October 2009, devotees can only perform robe-offering to the Sangha or community of monks once a year. Thus, one should not choose which monk to offer the robe to because the Sangha will decide who shall own the Kathina robe based first on the needs and secondly by seniority. |
