Sayadaw Vivekananda was here in PSMC since 21st April and had conducted Dhamma Talk on 23rd April. This is the second visit (the first visit was in 2007) of the Germany Sayadaw who can speak fluent Burmese language. We are so pleased to have him to share with us the Dhamma Talk in both languages- Burmese followed by English. He had quoted in his speech about ‘Satipathana’, “A meditator need to be able to concentrate, firm and state fast in noting arising and falling. The attack should be rushing into the object of noting, confronting it by face to face without delay” He illustrated the scenario is “just like a soccer player who never loose sight of the soccer or a badminton player who never loose sight of the shuttlecock in the game” The session started 7.30pm and end by 9.30pm, it was a fruitful evening with the teaching given. Though it was a busy weekday, we were glad to see most of our Dhamma friends who managed to turn up and brought home the good teaching. |

The Aphorisms
Just stupid
As long as Omniscient knowledge has not been attained, people in the world are just stupid.
