October
Sayadaw U Pannathami is away [ Added: 17 October ]
On 18th October, Sayadaw U Pannathami will be leaving for Singapore and Malaysia to attend Kathina, and conducting retreat in Malacca. While he is away, Sayadaw U Pannissara will take care of Sunday school and Dhamma class. Sayadaw will be coming back to Sydney on 5th November.
The events were held successfully [ Added: 07 October ]
The seventh 'Kathina Robes Offering' at PSMC was held successfully. We kindly like to say 'Many Thanks' to Sayadaws who attended in our ceremony, main sponsors, U Than Htwe, Daw Nwe Ni, son Nay Aung Lin and Dr. Nann Si Si Win, supporters and Dhamma friends. In coming years, we kindly announce that we warmly welcome anyone to sponsor such a kind of event and we hope to see each one of you again. See photos from this event.
The first 'Candle Lighting Festival' at PSMC was such a wonderful and an unbelievable event. We are so pleased to see lots of Dhamma friends came and joined us on that night. We would like to thank each one of those who participated in this event. See photos from that pleasant night.
September
4-days special retreat is over [ Added: 26 September ]
Our four days special retreat is over and about 20 yogis came and practised Vipassna Meditation during this. Sayadaw U Pannathami also gave them Dhamma talks. We would like to say 'Many Thanks' to all of yogis and please come and join us again if such kind of retreat is held in the future. See photos from this event.

Sayadaw's Oversea Retreats [ Added: 18 September ]
Sayadaw U Pannathami will conduct retreats in oversea to spread Buddha Sassana around the world from next month and click here to find out his schedule.

Make a donation for Buddha Image [ Added: 19 August ]
The PSMC is planning to purchase Buddha Image (Rupa) which is approximately 7-feet and 9-inches in height from Yangon, Myanmar for Buddhists in Sydney. More>>
Special Retreat [ Added: 16 August ]
From 12th to 19th August, Sayadaw U Pannathami is conducting special retreat at Blue Mountains Insight Meditation Centre (BMIMC) and he is offering Dhamma talks nightly and discussing meditation experience of yogis daily. There are 15 yogis who come and practise meditation deligently. We warmly welcome anyone to come and join Sayadaw's retreat.

Monthly Food Fair
It was held successfully because of those who have kindness and generous people. As a response to your contribution, we deeply express 'Many Thanks' to each one of those who came and joined us, contributed his/her effort and energy kindly. All funds raised on this food fair will go towards improvements of current centre. We very much appreciate the time you have taken to support us. Metta Day
On first day of this, the six Yogis came and practised for meditation at centre. Sayadaw U Pannathami has given the following Dhamma talks which is the admonition by Buddha:
- Practise diligently
- Be mindful on your body and mind
- Do not forget, do not neglect, do not regret later on
Sunday School
Moreover, it was conducted by Sayadaw U Pannathami started today and it was held successfully and nine young children attended in this school. On the first day of school, Sayadaw taught about Dhamma talks for beginners and the basic of Buddhist cultural.
We would like to thank those children who came and learned about Buddha today. We will be quite happy to see all of them on next class and also would like to invite more children to participate in this. See photo gallery from this.
