Make donaion for building funds
The PSMC is planning to purchase a new centre to be able to make regular meditation classes for yogis, give Dhamma talks, celebrate Buddhist culture festivals and monthly food fair at a nice and comfortable place.
Therefore, we kindly would like to announce that we warmly welcome kindness and generosity of all of our Dhamma friends to be able to purchase our future dream meditation centre in a very short time.
During the Buddha's lifetime, he revealed the realities underlying the temporal appearances of this world. He taught that it was possible to perceive and accept these truths, and to deepen understanding, through the active practise of meditation.
Today, in Sydney, the Panditarama Meditation Centre continues this tradition, exactly as it was handed down from the Buddha. Although the centre has a background in the Theravadan tradition, as practised in Burma, it is not ethnically exclusive, and offers training in meditation, and teaching of the Buddhist principles to anyone who wishes to visit the centre.
The centre is fortunate to have as its teacher a bi-lingual monk, Sayadaw U Pannathami. In the six years since the foundation of the centre, it has become obvious that its influence is spreading, but now it has reached a point where it requires to expand.
To further the ongoing work of the centre, and to bring the word of the Buddha and the practise of His way to more people, it would be marvellous to have a quiet and roomy retreat in a rural or semi-rural district. At this point, the centre appeals to anyone in the broader community who wishes to become a patron or sponsor of this project, and is able to help in real, or practical, terms to do so.
The donation of a few hectares of land would be an exhilerating boon to the hard-working community, and would bring a life-time of appreciation from the people who would benefit from such a open-hearted gesture.
If you are moved by love or compassion to assist the cause, you can contact the centre:

We received $500 donation on 3rd September 2006 from following kind and generous person, Daw Mya Own (Ya Naung, Thailand). We would like to say 'Many Thanks' for her support and wish she can make much more donation in the future. We also warmly welcome others to contribute any level of support into this.
