Bring along Buddha Image (Rupa) to Sydney
With the purpose to be able to make an obeisance to Buddha image for Buddhists in Sydney, the Panditarama Sydney Meditation Centre (PSMC) planned to purchase Buddha image which is approximately 7 feet and 9 inches in height from Yangon, Myanmar, in December 2006. We believed that it is a great and rare opportunity for Dhamma friends here and were so pleased to announce to contribute your kindness and generosity into such a kind of big event.
With the support of kind and generous Dhamma friends, the Buddha Image (Rupa) was arrived at Sydney on 17th January 2007 and now we all have a chance to make a worship to it.
The cost of Buddha Image and shipment fees to deliver it from Yangon to Sydney is about Ks. 150 Lakh (approximately AUD$15,000), but there are some extra expenses to bring it to our current centre once it is arrived in Sydney. We are pleased to announce the total donation we received for this is AUD$ 16650.
With the support of all of our Dhamma friends, the Buddha Image (Rupa) is in our centre and we are so pleased to announce those who has contributed their kindness and generosity.
