People who have had the rare opportunity of becoming human beings, and the even rarer one of meeting with the Buddha Sasana should practice Satipatthana meditation - which can cultivate the mind and develop insight-daily and regularly, at least until they get a guarantee for life (in forthcoming samsarika wanderings) so that they can reap the rare benefits of having become human beings and of having met with the Buddha Sasana.

The Sayadaw U Pannathami wishes to share the following nice poem with his Dhamma firends and he hopes everyone will like it.

Enjoy the silence...
Enjoy being alone... without any noise...
This is the best time when you can be mindful...
This is the time when you know where your mind is going...
This is the time when you know what you see, hear, smell, taste or touch...
This is the only time when you are aware of what is going on within you...
and not what other people are doing / saying/ thinking...
This is the only time when you mind your own business...
This is the time when you build your inner strength...

Learn to be alone at all times...
Away from all the noises...
What they are talking about is not my business... nor is it yours...
Even if it is judgement about me or you, let them be...
They think they needed to pass judgement...
It does not mean you or I have to do the same...
Even if it is about the world, let them be... it is none of my business...neither is it yours...
I came to this world alone and so did you...so did they...
We have our own "life" and we have to do what we came here for according to our Karma...
We have to do them before we leave... before our time is up...
